There is a black cat that roams around our neighborhood.
Sarah and Emily are now 5' tall. We can share shoes now.
Apparently, some of the boys and girls in 5th grade are now talking about the opposite sex. Emily is none too happy about this, based on a conversation we had last night. Tim says 5th grade boys don't even think about girls, but I don't believe that. I told him that, too.
Hachi ran away again. This time, we lured him back with a rancid steak. When we returned home from chasing the dog, our carpenter Gines asked, "you have cat?" After several complex hand gestures and some broken English, Gines described observing a black cat walking through a door into our house. We don't have a cat, and I'm not going to tell you how long we looked for the kitty, but I was really pissed off. Tim and I are both allergic, we had to put the dog in his crate, and Emily was just plain furious, and...
...as it turned out, Gines saw the cat leave the house.
