I embarrassed Emily when I plucked a dead rat off the soccer field last weekend. Or maybe because I held the dead rat while talking to a friend for 10 minutes. I told her I performed a valuable public service.
The other night when I tucked her in bed, she told me she was thirsty. I offered her some of my saliva.
In early June, the girls and I participated in the Race for the Cure in downtown Washington. The experience was rewarding and meaningful for all three of us and we got free stuff.
